Level 2

This qualification is aimed at individuals currently driving less than 3.5 tonne goods vehicles for their role. The drivers will transport and deliver goods between suppliers and customers, travelling across the UK and beyond; it is a skilled job and doing it safely requires work and training.

A full license at Category B is required to start working towards this qualification.

Suitability

This qualification is suitable for those primarily aged 16 years+ (although some employers specify 18years+) who show an interest in driving operations and logistics. They will have the opportunity to demonstrate competence and understanding against standards set by the needs of the industry as defined by Skills for Logistics.
