How much will it cost…
The salary for the individual is based on your discretion and will be agreed with the apprentice on acceptance of the position. It is recommended to you, the employer, that the apprentice is paid the current national minimum wage for an apprentice which is currently £3.40 per hour during the first 12 months of the placement. During this time the apprentice is expected to work 37 hours per week. The employer may continue paying the apprentice the minimum wage according to their age after the first 12 months of their placement which is based on:

Over to you…
Once the individual accepts the vacancy, it is here that you become their employer and carry out the relevant paperwork and checks with them to allow them to begin on your chosen start date. We will then need you to confirm an appropriate induction and settling in period for the individual and we can look into a suitable date for the trainer to come out to visit you and the apprentice to start the chosen qualification with them.
